This will be our challenge TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Grid Planner System Integration Multi Terminal HVDC (m/w/d), who will contribute to this and that might be you?
Your contribution to TenneT
In this position you will work on national and international studies for the development of functional requirements for expandable multi-vendor multi-terminal HVDC systems.
The planning and further development of hybrid AC/DC transmission networks onshore and offshore is also part of your tasks
You will be responsible for the simulative analysis and system integration of power electronic components, also for multi-terminal HVDC networks
Additionally you are supporting the definition of operational performance requirements for power electronic components and power electronic generators and loads
Moreover you are responsible for coordinating the impact of the results of various studies and projects on the description of the operational performances of the power electronic systems
Your Profile and background
The position requires a successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on electrical power engineering.
Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification
Initial professional experience with network calculation tools, ideally PSCAD and PowerFactory, is an advantage for this position.
Ideally, you have experience with laboratory tests for power electronic actuators (hardware-in-the-loop, power-hardware-in-the-loop).
You love to solve complex technical problems, work in a structured manner and never lose sight of quality.
You enjoy working in a international, multi disciplinary team and are keen to travel to all TenneT locations
