IoT Engineer - Connected Services (gn*)

Your tasks

Provide technical expertise and liaison with 3rd-parties and systems integrators to support instrumentation / control system / edge gateway / system design, specification and sourcing Onboard and register customer devices in Gestra Cloud application Design and develop tools to optimize deployment and customer support Development of processes (e.g. onboarding of customers) and Gestra Cloud Application Support and Training for users of Gestra Cloud Application

Your qualification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical Engineering / Computer Science discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mechatronics, Digital Technology or familiar) Experience with different aspects of IoT functionality, such as connectivity, security, provisioning, device management, data ingestion, real-time processing, analytics, edge and end devices Experience with wireless sensor technology (e.g. LoRa, NB-IoT or familiar) Knowledge of different communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CanOpen and familiars) Programming knowledge in databases (SQL), JavaScript Understanding of system architectures Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) Strong verbal /written communication and data presentation skills (PowerPoint or similar) Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English German would be beneficial
